Our primary output, Yardbird Sessions, translates this intimate live experience into an online space. These filmed sessions—characterized by exceptional audio & visual production—serve as a permanent, accessible archive for international jazz fans. By blending support for local talent with major touring acts, Yardbird bridges the gap between grassroots UK jazz scenes and the global stage.

Yardbird is the name of the night, named after it’s regular location in the dance hall space in the Kings Road Yard in Pontcanna. (Also named after Charlie 'Yardbird' Parker!)The dance hall venue is available to hire for events at https://www.kingsroadyard.co.uk
Yardbird is usually on the last Friday or Saturday of the month, however this can sometimes change due to any number of reasons. Take a look at our events page to see all forthcoming nights!
Yes! Unless the event has already sold out online. (Most events do, so make sure to get your tickets in plenty of time!)
